Lombard Odier Strengthens Asia Franchise with Key Hires Across North and Southeast Asia

Lombard Odier, the Swiss private bank, has strengthened its presence in Asia with the appointment of four seasoned bankers across North and Southeast Asia. The move underscores the bank’s commitment to enhancing client coverage and delivering tailored wealth management solutions in the region.
Joining Lombard Odier’s Private Clients Team are Eugene Chan, Team Leader for Southeast Asia, along with Relationship Managers Jason Yap, Joey Huang, and Isabella He. The new team members will be based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Eugene Chan brings nearly 30 years of experience in private banking, joining from Bank of East Asia Private Bank, where he served as Market Head for Singapore. He previously held senior roles at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Bank of Montreal Wealth Management, and Royal Bank of Canada. In his role at Lombard Odier, Eugene will lead a team of relationship managers to provide high‑quality advice and support to clients in Southeast Asia. He joined the bank on 30 December 2025 and reports to Andrea Meierhofer, Head of Southeast Asia, Private Clients.
Jason Yap brings over 25 years of experience in private wealth management across Southeast Asia. Formerly Director at Bank of East Asia Private Bank, Jason has held key positions at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Bank of Montreal Singapore, and Royal Bank of Canada (Asia) Limited. He joined Lombard Odier on 5 January 2026 and is based in Singapore.
Joey Huang has more than 20 years of banking experience, including 16 years in private banking in Taiwan. Prior to joining Lombard Odier on 13 March 2026, he was Senior Relationship Manager at Taishin International Bank and previously held senior roles at Merrill Lynch & Co, Fubon Bank, and China Trust Commercial Bank. Joey is based in Singapore and will further strengthen the bank’s bespoke advisory offerings in North Asia.
Isabella He joined Lombard Odier on 1 April 2026. With over 18 years of experience in client advisory and strategic relationship management, Isabella has worked with ultra-high-net-worth clients, family offices, institutional investors, and private bank partners. Previously, she was Head of Investor Relations and Strategy at I-Mab Biopharma and has held positions at Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and UBS. She is based in Hong Kong.
