Senior hire from Julius Baer to lead strategic growth across the bank’s largest regional market

Bank of Singapore has appointed Vi Sun Yang as Head of Private Banking for the ASEAN region, effective 29 June 2026.
In her new role, Yang will join the bank’s global management committee and report directly to Jason Moo, Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Singapore. She will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and development of the bank’s private banking franchise across ASEAN, its largest regional market.
Yang brings more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, with a strong track record in leading high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client segments across Southeast Asia. She joins from Julius Baer, where she served as Market Head for Southeast Asia.
Prior to her tenure at Julius Baer, Yang spent 14 years with UBS in Singapore, holding several senior leadership roles. These included Head of the Private Client Segment across seven Asian markets and Market Head for Indonesia.
Earlier in her career, she held positions at American Express, DBS Bank and Standard Chartered.
The appointment underscores Bank of Singapore’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership team and expanding its presence in the ASEAN wealth management market.
