Cybersecurity and data protection company Acronis has launched a new motorsport activation with its distribution partner LEADER during the Australian Grand Prix weekend, strengthening its presence across international racing platforms.
The activation, taking place from March 6–8 in Melbourne, includes partnerships with Campos Racing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship and Grove Racing in the Supercars series. Through the initiative, Acronis serves as the Official Cybersecurity Partner of Campos Racing and an Official Partner of Grove Racing.
The collaboration highlights the role of secure and reliable technology in motorsport operations, where teams rely on real-time data systems and stable digital infrastructure during race events.
As part of the partnership, LEADER branding will appear on race cars, and the activation will include team garage tours, driver appearances and hospitality events for partners and customers attending the Australian Grand Prix weekend.
Rajesh Chhabra, General Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Acronis, said the initiative reflects the relationship between high-performance sport and cybersecurity operations.
“Race teams operate in environments where speed, precision and data integrity are essential,” Chhabra said. “Through this activation with LEADER, we are also hosting managed service provider partners during the race weekend to strengthen relationships and expand collaboration across our partner network.”
Theo Kristoris, Managing Director of LEADER, said motorsport provides a platform to demonstrate the importance of reliable and secure technology.
“This initiative allows us to engage with our partners while highlighting how secure IT infrastructure supports performance in demanding environments,” Kristoris said.
Adrián Campos, Team Principal of Campos Racing, said modern racing teams depend on advanced digital systems and secure IT infrastructure.
“Strong cybersecurity is essential in motorsport today, and we are pleased to welcome LEADER to the team for the FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 season opener in Melbourne,” Campos said.
Stephen Grove, Team Owner of Grove Racing, said the Australian Grand Prix provides significant global exposure for teams and partners, with large attendance and international broadcast reach.
He added that the partnership supports Grove Racing’s operational infrastructure while creating engagement opportunities for partners during the event.
The initiative forms part of Acronis’ broader efforts to expand its partner ecosystem and regional engagement in the Asia-Pacific market.
