Singapore — Lumen Capital Investors (LCI) has opened new offices at CapitaGreen in Singapore’s central business district, marking a milestone following its merger with the Family Office and Wealth Management division of Aument Capital Group (ACG).

The move reflects the firm’s expansion over the past 15 years and the integration of ACG’s team into LCI. The combined entity now operates with 36 staff in Singapore, including eight professionals who joined from Aument.

Founded in 2010 by Wilfried Kofmehl, former Singapore CEO of Julius Baer, LCI began operations at Clifford Centre. At the opening event, Kofmehl said the new office represents the firm’s development and continued focus on client trust and independent asset management.

Chief Executive Officer Jan Dirkmann said the CapitaGreen location was selected for its proximity to Raffles Place, Marina Bay Financial Centre and major financial institutions. The building is known for its green design features and houses several financial and professional services firms, including partner bank Bordier & Cie.

Following the merger, LCI positions itself as a mid-sized platform serving entrepreneurial and family office clients in Asia. Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer Thomas von Rueti said increasing regulatory and governance requirements have made it more challenging for smaller single-family offices to operate independently, creating demand for larger, structured platforms.

LCI stated it will continue to pursue organic growth of 10 to 15 percent annually and is evaluating acquisitions of smaller firms that align with its investment philosophy. The firm also plans to expand its talent base as opportunities arise.

The company said its strategy focuses on independent asset management, governance standards and technology adoption to support client solutions in an increasingly complex market environment.
