Chrysalix Industrial Innovation Fund Announces Seed Investment in Geopyörä to Scale Advanced Ore Body Intelligence Platform for Mining Industry

Chrysalix Venture Capital has announced a seed investment in Geopyörä Oy, a mining technology company developing an advanced ore body knowledge platform designed to deliver highly accurate and spatially dense breakage energy data to the global mining industry.
The investment supports the development and scaling of Geopyörä’s innovative comminution intelligence platform, which integrates seamlessly with existing sampling and assay workflows. By providing detailed insights into ore hardness variability, the technology enables mining operators to optimize throughput, improve recovery rates, and significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Geopyörä’s proprietary breakage testing technology produces high-resolution ore hardness datasets using small samples derived from geochemical assays, metallurgical testing, and blast hole chips. These datasets feed into geometallurgical models that support more informed decision-making across mine scheduling and processing systems.
