CMC Markets has announced the consolidation of its Singapore operations, merging CMC Markets Singapore Invest Pte Ltd into its main Singapore entity. The restructuring is aimed at streamlining its corporate structure and supporting the upcoming launch of a new multi-asset trading and investing platform.
The consolidation will integrate the CMC Invest legal entity into CMC Markets’ primary Singapore business, enabling a more efficient operational framework as the company prepares to roll out expanded services to local clients. The move is intended to support faster product development and a unified client experience across trading and investing services.
According to the company, the restructuring paves the way for a new multi-asset platform that will combine trading, investing, and wealth management capabilities in a single interface.
“The Singapore market demands a multi-asset platform which places choice above all else; owning a niche is no longer the answer as clients want a single platform—being able to invest into shares, wealth products, CFDs, options and crypto, and manage your credit card, all in one place,” said Christopher Forbes, Head of Asia and the Middle East at CMC Markets.
He added that the portfolio-style investing approach is central to the company’s strategy and that the new structure enables delivery of a more integrated client offering.
Once launched, the new platform is expected to introduce expanded functionality for Singapore-based clients, including broader access to multiple asset classes within a single ecosystem. CMC Markets confirmed that its existing CMC Invest stockbroking platform will remain operational, with no disruption for current users.
CMC Markets has operated in Singapore for approximately two decades, building partnerships in sports, talent development, and investor education. The company stated that it will continue investing in platform innovation, financial literacy initiatives, and community engagement as it strengthens its presence in the region.
