Singapore, 18 May 2026 – The Singapore Business Federation (SBF), in partnership with Enterprise Singapore, today officially launched the Centre for Enterprise Financing Advisory (CEFA), a new one-stop platform designed to help businesses secure financing, strengthen financial readiness, and support enterprise transformation in an increasingly complex operating environment.

The launch event, themed “Financing the Future, Enabling Enterprise Transformation”, was held at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and officiated by Guest-of-Honour Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & Culture, Community and Youth. The event brought together business leaders, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners to mark a significant milestone in Singapore’s enterprise support ecosystem.

CEFA was established in response to growing business demand for accessible financing support and stronger financial management capabilities. According to SBF’s National Business Survey 2025 – Annual Business Sentiments Edition, 69% of businesses identified growing cash revenue as a top priority, while nearly half highlighted the importance of maintaining positive cash flow.

The new centre aims to bridge information gaps between enterprises and financiers by streamlining access to suitable financing options and offering practical advisory support to improve financial preparedness. In addition to financing advisory services, CEFA will support capability development through courses, events, digital tools, market insights, and financial management resources.

Speaking at the launch, representatives from SBF highlighted the importance of coordinated support in helping enterprises navigate today’s economic challenges and growth opportunities.

A key highlight of the event was the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) display ceremony involving leading financial institutions including CIMB, DBS, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, RHB, Standard Chartered Bank, and UOB. The collaboration underscores a shared commitment to enhancing coordinated financing access for enterprises across Singapore.

The event also featured the unveiling of the refreshed Financial Management Toolkit, originally developed by the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), Enterprise Singapore, and RSM Singapore. The updated toolkit includes interactive diagnostics, practical guides, and templates aimed at helping businesses strengthen financial governance and improve financial health.

Industry leaders and banking partners at the launch shared insights on how stronger collaboration between public agencies and financial institutions can reshape the way small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) access funding and build resilience for future growth.

CEFA is expected to play a critical role in supporting Singapore enterprises as they pursue transformation, innovation, and sustainable growth amid evolving global market conditions.
