Advantest Corporation has selected Anaqua‘s AQX® platform to manage its global intellectual property operations, Anaqua said on Tuesday.

The move comes as semiconductor companies adjust to faster development cycles driven by artificial intelligence, electrification, and next-generation devices. Advantest is seeking to standardize internal processes, streamline IP workflows across its global offices, and reduce operational complexity through greater use of data and automation.

Anaqua’s AQX platform will also support Advantest’s management of its global IP portfolio by enabling collaboration with external IP law firms and providing access to patent office databases in multiple jurisdictions.

The platform includes centralized IP data management, automated workflows, analytics tools, and a scalable architecture designed to support multinational operations.

Justin Crotty, Chief Executive Officer of Anaqua, said the selection reflects growing demand from technology companies for IP management systems that support innovation and global operations.

Kazuyasu Adachi, President and General Manager for Japan and Asia-Pacific at Anaqua, said the partnership aligns with Advantest’s ongoing development of semiconductor testing technologies as demand increases for AI-related applications.

Anaqua provides IP management software to corporations and law firms worldwide, integrating IP data, analytics, and execution to support portfolio oversight and risk management.

Advantest Corporation supplies semiconductor test solutions and services to chipmakers globally. Anaqua is headquartered in Boston and operates across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia.
