Global private markets firm Partners Group has announced the appointment of Pete Zippelius as Co-Head of its Private Equity Health & Life business, further strengthening its leadership team in the healthcare investment space.
Zippelius is set to join the firm’s U.S. headquarters in September 2026, where he will work alongside Benjamin Breier, who has served in the role since 2022. With more than 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, Zippelius brings a strong track record of executing and managing large-scale healthcare investments. He most recently served as an Investment Partner at Leonard Green & Partners, where he led healthcare investments totaling approximately $8 billion. During his tenure, he also played a significant role in shaping the firm’s organizational structure and served on key committees, including the Investment and Operating Committee.
Prior to his private equity career, Zippelius held senior investment banking positions at leading global financial institutions, focusing primarily on healthcare transactions.
