Standard Chartered has appointed Jan Metzger as Global Head of Coverage Banking within its Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division, the bank announced.
Based in Hong Kong, Metzger will join the CIB management team and report directly to Roberto Hoornweg, CEO of Corporate and Investment Banking.
Metzger brings over 20 years of experience across Asia, advising corporates, financial institutions, and public sector clients on investment banking, credit, and transaction banking. He joins from Citigroup, where he most recently served as Co-Head of Investment Banking for Asia Pacific. His prior experience includes senior roles at Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.
