VinFast has launched a new rental program for its electric vehicles in Indonesia and the Philippines, aiming to expand access for ride-hailing and transport service drivers and promote greener mobility in the region.
The program offers drivers flexible options to rent or purchase vehicles from VinFast’s Green lineup, including Herio Green and Limo Green. Rental plans start from IDR 312,500 per day in Indonesia and PHP 1,000 per day in the Philippines, allowing drivers to begin operations with low upfront costs.
Drivers who choose to buy can access tailored financing solutions designed to reduce initial payments and align repayment schedules with their income. Commercial customers also benefit from free charging at V-Green stations through March 2029.
The rollout begins in Greater Jakarta and Metro Manila, with plans to expand gradually across both markets. VinFast said the program supports drivers’ income stability while contributing to lower emissions and sustainable urban transport.
Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Automotive Sales at VinFast, said, “This initiative provides drivers with a stable income and supports the green transition in the commercial transport sector, contributing to improved quality of life and reduced emissions.”
VinFast’s parent company, Vingroup, is offering additional incentives through its Trade Gas for Electric program, including up to 3% of vehicle value and a 10% discount on Green SM electric ride fares in Indonesia through 30 April 2026.
