Asia’s education technology is estimated to reach a market valuation of US$5 trillion by 2020. The sector presents an immense potential due to high ownership of smart devices and deeper internet penetration, which has led to a rapid emergence of a fast-growing edtech ecosystem in Asia. Within ed-tech, the tuition industry is also set to achieve a billion dollar valuation, and is seen as a corner-stone in a student’s educational success. The founder speaks about three emerging trends in the ed-tech sector which is making a significant impact — enhanced learning accessibility, data analytics for learning, and personalised learning.
