Bank of Singapore Hires Alternative Investments Expert to Strengthen UHNW Solutions

Bank of Singapore, the private banking division of Oversea‑Chinese Banking Corporation, has appointed Bernard Heng as Head of Customised Solutions, effective 2 March 2026. The move is intended to bolster the bank’s capabilities in bespoke investment and alternative product solutions for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.

In his new role, Heng will report to Lim Leong Guan, Global Head of Investment Solutions Group. He will lead the development, management and execution of complex product offerings and tailor-made strategies designed to meet the needs of UHNW clients.

Heng brings extensive experience in wealth management and private banking. His previous senior roles include Managing Director and Global Co-Head of the Private and Alternatives Group at UBS and senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse. He also served as Principal and Head of Southeast Asia Private Financing at Apollo Management, a private investment firm.

The appointment reflects Bank of Singapore’s focus on expanding its customised investment capabilities and strengthening its position in the competitive UHNW wealth-management segment.
