Swissquote Appoints Rafael Weber as Deputy CEO for Singapore

Swissquote, the digital financial services group, has appointed Rafael Weber as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of its Singapore business, further strengthening its leadership team in the region.

In his expanded role, Weber will continue to focus on scaling Swissquote’s Singapore operations while overseeing all client relationships, ensuring continuity and the development of long-term partnerships in the city-state.

Weber brings close to two decades of experience across banking and fintech. He joined Swissquote in 2021 and has played a key role in the growth of the firm’s Singapore presence. Prior to this, he spent five years at UBS in Singapore, where he served as a client advisor to intermediaries including external asset managers and family offices.

The appointment underscores Swissquote’s ongoing commitment to expanding its digital wealth and trading capabilities in Asia, as well as deepening relationships with institutional and intermediary clients in Singapore.
